People for the Dunes 

For seven months in 2020, the Oceano Dunes and beach were closed to off-highway vehicles. While it was closed we spotted the following:

Families, joggers, bicyclists, horseback riders, speed walkers, surfers, windsurfers, kayakers, photographers, doggos, sandcastle architects, suntanners, boogie boarders, picnic eaters, sand boarders, book readers, studying students, kiteboarders...

Did we mention the snowy plovers???
